Bio

Bwire is an indie pop/rock band from the Netherlands. Band members are: Wiebe Koopmans (vocals and rythm guitar), Remco Bootsma (lead guitar and backing vocals), Bas Brekelmans (bass) Johannes Bootsma (keybord/piano) and René Schaap (drums)

Bwire has been founded by Wiebe and Remco. They started off as an acoustic singer/songwriter duo and played some gigs at local radio stations and were support act for William Seen’s transport music and Chris Chameleon. As a band Bwire stands for new fresh indie pop/rock. Topics in the songs are, amogst others, love, fear, pain and sadness. Bwire allready played for RTV Mercurius in the TV program Down town café at Theater the Romein and closed a “record deal” with Tom Pearce. This producer worked with some famous people in the music scene like: Elton John, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. He discovered Bwire through his own website pro-demo.com where some of Bwires acoustic songs were in the monthly top 5. A few recording sessions were allready done and soon the first songs will be digitally released. After that maybe an album will be released.
